This role helps people recovering from stroke by delivering specialist physiotherapy, making a real difference to their independence and quality of life.
You’ll work as part of a supportive community stroke team, helping patients and families manage recovery at home and in local settings. Your work will focus on tailored rehabilitation, promoting confidence, and supporting people to regain function and wellbeing. You’ll also share your expertise with colleagues and help shape a service that meets changing needs.
What you’ll do:
Assess, plan and deliver specialist physiotherapy for people with complex stroke needs
Manage and prioritise a varied caseload, ensuring timely and appropriate care
Work closely with patients, families and other professionals to set shared goals
Provide advice, training and support to colleagues and learners
Contribute to service improvement, audits and evidence-based practice
What we’re looking for:
A qualified physiotherapist with current Health and Care Professions Council registration
Experience working with adults in a rehabilitation or community setting
Confidence managing complex cases and making clinical decisions
Strong communication skills, with empathy for patients and families
Willingness to support others through supervision, teaching and teamwork
