Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising refrigeration systems across various facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to interpret schematics, and leadership qualities to oversee maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs efficiently.
- Lead maintenance teams during complex repairs and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams during system upgrades or new installations.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in refrigeration engineering - Industrial and commercial (preferred).
- Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing teams or overseeing projects.
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance within commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC systems is advantageous.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
