Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in spraying. The Powder Coat Applicator plays a vital part in delivering durable, aesthetically pleasing products that meet client specifications.

Duties

Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and automated systems, to apply uniform coats
Set up and calibrate spray booths and related machinery to ensure optimal application
Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and reporting repairs needed
Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area as required

Requirement

Prior experience in powder application / spraying would be advantageous / desirable or a willingness to learn the spraying process ( wage variable )
Ability to operate and maintain spray booths and powder coating machinery effectively
Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and work in a confined space if necessary.
