Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for styling, colouring, and grooming, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where creativity and client satisfaction are at the forefront. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, including specialised treatments such as Blonde Services and Smoothing treatments, while also contributing to the overall management and growth of the salon.

Responsibilities

Provide professional hair styling, colouring, cutting, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs.
Assist with front desk duties, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and support.
Manage store operations efficiently, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with industry trends and techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
Skills in appointment booking systems and retail sales.
Knowledge in colour techniques, and cutting-edge styling trends.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Experience in mentoring junior staff or trainees.
Ability to upsell products and services tactfully while maintaining client trust.
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity is celebrated, professional growth is supported, and every team member plays a vital part in delivering exceptional beauty experiences.
