Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stores Person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stock activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle lifting, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Duties

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accurately logged and accounted for.
Load and unload materials, ensuring safe handling practices are followed at all times.
Collect items from stock and deliver to teams
Return items to stock when required
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience in a stock role
Strong skills in shipping and receiving processes are desirable.
Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail.
A proactive approach to materials handling and stock management is essential.
