Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Cafe/Bar Restaurant Associate, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for every guest. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedure
Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and positive interactions
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations to uphold a welcoming environment
Support cash handling, process payments accurately, and balance registers at shift end
Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods effectively through excellent time management

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest services
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation
Experience in serving beverages and food with professionalism and efficiency, barista experience advantageous
Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue potential
