Birmingham Electrical Training (BET), established in 1991, is a dedicated provider of electrical apprenticeship training and c electrical courses in Birmingham. We currently train 650 electrical apprentices alongside around 300 local and national electrical contractors. BET is committed to fostering the next generation of electricians, BET offers high-quality education, currently training over 650 electircal apprentices and provding practical experience through partnerships with 350 local electrical contractors.
BET is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee and enhance the quality assurance processes at Birmingham Electrical Training. Based at our Birmingham centre, this role is vital in ensuring our training programs meet and exceed industry standards and support our mission of delivering exceptional electrical education.
Role &Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and proceduresa across our provision
- Undertake Lesson Observations to Oftsed Requriements
- Work with Awarding Bodies such as City & Guilds, Highfields and EAL to ensure compliance and support EQA Visits
- Mentor new and exisiting Teaching and Learning Staff to ensure quality teaching experiance across trhe provision
- Quality Assure all parts of the Training provison
- Organise and Chair Standardisation Meetings
- Design Advice and Guidnace Curriculm across the provision
- Support with gaining Matrix Acrediation
- Supporting Directors and Senior Managers with compliance and implementation of Ofsted Framework
- Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Deliver Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality & Diversity Training to staff
- Ideally be able to deliver Level 3 AET, Teaching and Assessment Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality/teaching or assessment role within an College or Apprenticeship Training provider within educational or technical training environments.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted Framework and Quality Processes within an Apprenticeship provider
- Hold a Teaching, Assessment and IQA Qualification
- Strong communication skills for liaising with staff, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Experiacne of working within Work Based Learning Provider
- Able to teach and assess Teaching Qualifications such as AET./CAVA would be advantagous
- As we work with young people, candidates are required to undertake a Enhanced DBS Check prior to start of employment. Candidates should also have Right to Work in the UK.

Package:
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 depending on experiande
6 Month Probation Period
Full or Part Time Considered - Peremanent Position

Officed Based Role, no Hybrid or Remote role
Hours: 8:00am to 4.30pm Mon-Thur and 8.00am to 4.00pm on a Friday with 1/2 Lunch.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
