The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances you could provide experiences and opportunities that will help them be confident and reach their potential.

Joining us as a casual colleague allows you the perfect work / life balance as you can tell us when you are available. If your new to childcare or looking to keep your skills up to date with a more flexible working arrangement then please do consider applying. Over 60% of our casual workforce enjoyed getting to know us this way and changed to permanent contracts when roles became available.

Whilst previous experience within a childcare setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for Casual Early Years Educators who have a genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour! A typical day in the role will include (depending on your experience):

Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
Helping with meals and snack times
Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
Meet and greet families and build great relationships
Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. As part of our inclusive culture, we encourage applications across all cultural backgrounds, genders and abilities.
