Trainee Sales Team Leader

Aberdeen | Full Time | Immediate Start | Entry Level

Our client is looking for ambitious, confident individuals ready to build careers in sales, leadership, and business development. No previous experience is required - just a positive attitude, great people skills and the motivation to learn.

You'll begin by developing your sales and customer service skills through face-to-face customer interactions before progressing into team leadership, recruitment and management. With full training and ongoing support, there's a genuine opportunity to progress into management within 6-12 months based on performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Starting Out - Sales & Customer Engagement

Your first step is learning the business from the ground up by developing the skills that create successful leaders.

You'll:

Speak with customers face-to-face to promote products and services.
Build confidence through customer interactions and relationship building.
Deliver excellent customer service from first conversation through to sale.
Learn effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
Work towards individual targets while earning uncapped commission and bonuses.
Work both independently and alongside a supportive team.

Progress Into Leadership

As you grow, you'll begin taking on more responsibility by:

Supporting and mentoring new team members.
Assisting with coaching and training.
Helping to organise sales campaigns and team activities.
Learning recruitment, interviewing and people management.
Monitoring team performance and contributing to business growth.

Successful candidates can progress into a management position within 6-12 months, where you'll lead a team, support recruitment and play a key role in growing the business.

Excellent communication and people skills.
A willingness to learn and develop.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Someone who enjoys working towards goals and being rewarded for their results.

Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, events, promotions or similar customer-facing roles can be beneficial but isn't required.
