Full job description

Due to an increase in workload, we are now seeking a Electro Mechanical Fitter to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

Being able to inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV
Carry out inspections, overhauls & repairs of various motors that have been used in explosive atmospheres
Accuratley assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines
Quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements
Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time

Qualifications & Experience

The successful applicant will possess:

Hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent
Previous experience within a Electro-Mechanical environment
Experience of rotating equipment as well as route cause analyses and measuring
Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work and offshore scopes
Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential
Current offshore licence preferable but not essential
