Seward Precision Laser - Press Brake Operator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with laser cutting and fabrication teams
- Perform routine maintenance and report any machine faults or issues
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

This role is Mon-Thurs 7.00am - 16.00pm. Fridays 7.00am - 12.30pm.
Up to £18 per hour depending on candidate experience.
