Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of farm maintenance, cattle feeding, and animal care. Duties
- Feeding cattle a TMR ration with a feeder wagon
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and power tools, including basic repairs and troubleshooting
- Using hand tools for planting, pruning, and general farm upkeep
- Performing heavy lifting tasks such as moving feed, equipment,
- Caring for livestock by feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health
- Silage and slurry
- Conducting routine maintenance on farm equipment and infrastructure
- Assisting with animal husbandry tasks to ensure welfare standards are met
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the farm environment
Experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks is preferred
- Experience with equipment repair or general maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be available
- Tractor driving skills
