About the Role
- Role starts on 7th SEPTEMBER 2026
- Based around Bolton area
- Role is offered on a 24 month basis – leading to a permanent full time role on completion of the course
- There will be some travel involved with this role and may lead to overnight stays away from home on accasion.
- £28,673 - £31,257 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Up to 3% Bonus + Benefits
- You must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
What will I be Doing?
- Produce accurate financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
- Monitor costs, revenues, and key performance indicators against business plans.
- Assist in developing financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and commercial bids.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and commercial teams to support business objectives.
- Assist in improving customer profitability and retention strategies.
- Support sales and tender processes through financial evaluation and modelling.
What are the Requirements?
- Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable. Support is provided.
- Solid foundation in financial analysis, accounting principles, and data interpretation.
- Excel skills (e.g. modelling, data manipulation, use of formulas).
- Awareness of financial systems and reporting tools is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
