Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the hospitality industry, providing vital support to our hotel operations and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored appropriately
Follow hotel policies regarding health and safety standards, including COVID-19 protocols
Assist with laundry duties as required
Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning practices
