FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT – FORFAR GOLF CLUB

We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistants to join our growing team at Forfar Golf Club. This is a fast paced, guest-facing role, delivering a consistently high standard of service to members, members’ guests and visitors to the Golf Club.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role delivering a high-quality, modern food offering across clubhouse dining for members and visitors alike, as well as supporting the continued growth of our new restaurant, Rig & Furrow.

The Role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team and help deliver a high-quality food and beverage experience to our members and visitors.

This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working in a lively hospitality environment and takes pride in providing great service.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the club’s bar and catering facilities, ensuring members and guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service at all times. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team and play a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the club. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to be part of a team that delivers a first-class experience to everyone at Forfar.

Key Responsibilities

Serving food and beverages in a polite, friendly and professional manner
Taking accurate food and drink orders and processing payments through the till system
Maintaining knowledge of menus, bar offerings and daily specials
Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to a high standard
Assisting with functions and events, including set-up and clear-down
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of bar and dining areas
Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the club

About You

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable
Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team
Good attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment
Willingness to learn and follow club standards and procedures

Hours:

Part time positions available, rota-based shifts including evenings and weekends
