Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated ABA Tutor to join a supportive team working one-to-one with an autistic child near Fleet, Hampshire. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a young child’s development while gaining valuable hands-on experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
Working under the supervision of an experienced ABA Consultant, you will help deliver an individualised home-based programme focused on communication, learning, social interaction, and positive behaviour support. Full theoretical and practical training will be provided, with opportunities to work towards Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in autism support, psychology, education, speech and language development, or behavioural therapy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one ABA sessions within the family home, following an agreed programme timetable.
- Support the implementation of personalised learning and behaviour support programmes under the guidance of the ABA Consultant.
- Assist with communication development using approaches such as PECS, gestures, and play-based interaction.
- Accurately collect and record session data and maintain programme records.
- Prepare teaching materials and support resource development for therapy sessions.
- Work collaboratively with parents, school staff, Speech and Language Therapists, and other professionals involved in the child’s support network.
- Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and annual reviews as required.
- Provide consistent, engaging, and compassionate support tailored to the child’s individual needs.
Skills
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively within a team of healthcare professionals and educators
- Strong organisational skills for data collection and programme implementation
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Patience and adaptability when working with children who have diverse needs
- Basic understanding of medication administration and patient care procedures is advantageous

Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour
