Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious, customer-focused Territory Manager to join our Residential Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone currently working in Estate Agency, Residential Lettings, Property Management, New Homes or a customer-facing property role who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Working remotely from home, you will manage a portfolio of residential developments within your designated territory. The role is highly autonomous, varied and rewarding.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Territory Manager to join our Residential Lettings team. This is a varied, field-based role responsible for managing a designated portfolio of properties and delivering an exceptional experience for landlords, tenants and internal stakeholders throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
While previous experience within Residential Lettings or Property Management is preferred, we will also consider exceptional candidates with strong communication skills, a professional approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Property Viewings & Lettings
- Manage a diary of pre-booked property viewings across your allocated portfolio.
- Conduct professional property viewings and provide prospective tenants with accurate information.
- Provide viewing feedback to the leasing team.
Tenant Onboarding & Customer Experience
- Ensure all required documentation is received from prospective tenants.
- Conduct move-in appointments, welcoming tenants to their new home.
- Complete key handovers and provide information relating to the property and development.
- Carry out Right to rent checks at the point of move in.
- Deliver a professional and positive customer experience at every stage of the tenancy.
Property Management
- Prepare detailed inventory reports prior to the commencement of each tenancy.
- Carry out mid-term inspections and produce clear reports on property condition.
- Identify maintenance issues and discuss any concerns with tenants.
- Liaise with Property Managers to ensure maintenance issues are resolved promptly, both before and during tenancy.
- Complete comprehensive check-out reports at the end of each tenancy.
- Undertake regular site visits, property audits and post-maintenance sign-off inspections.
- Follow company procedures relating to key management, compliance and audit processes.
- Support wider property management activities as required.
Administration & Reporting
- Complete all post-appointment administration accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date records using internal property management and CRM systems.
- Prepare inspection reports and tenancy documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Lettings, Property Management, Asset Management and Operations teams.
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within Residential Lettings, Property Management or a customer-facing property role (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- A professional, confident and customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments and priorities.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports.
- Competent IT skills and experience using CRM or property management systems.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, business mileage will be paid by Ascend.
- Knowledge of tenancy processes and compliance requirements.
- ARLA qualification or willingness to work towards industry qualifications
