Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. We are looking for awake nights 11hr shift.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in our care setting, supporting their daily needs and promoting wellbeing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives while developing their skills within the healthcare sector. The position is paid and suitable for applicants with a genuine interest in caring for others.

Duties

Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Supporting individuals with their night routines in accordance with personalised care plans
Administering medication as directed and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Providing companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
Maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations
Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery

Qualifications

Previous experience of two years working within a care home or home care setting is essential; full training will be provided
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
