Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Evening Picker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations during the evening shift. This energetic position involves selecting, packing, and preparing goods for shipment with precision and speed. You will be instrumental in maintaining a smooth flow of materials, utilizing warehouse management systems, and handling various equipment to meet daily operational goals. Responsibilities

Efficiently pick items from designated storage locations using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols
Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely to move heavy loads within the warehouse
Prepare orders by packing items securely for shipping, verifying quantities and quality standards
Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for team members
Conduct quality control checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and damage-free products
Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation, labeling, and tracking shipments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members
Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus
Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software enhances productivity but is not mandatory
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude helps in troubleshooting equipment issues quickly
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and quality control procedures
Comfortable working during evening hours in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
