The Role
This is a varied position working across both our Maintenance and Landscaping divisions.
Typical duties include:
- Professional garden and estate maintenance
- Lawn care, hedge cutting and specialist pruning
- Planting and border maintenance
- Soft landscaping and landscaping projects
- Operating and maintaining professional gardening equipment
- Tractor, plant and machinery operation (where experienced)
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment and high standards on site
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Acorn professionally
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in horticulture or estate maintenance
- Has hard landscaping experience or a good understanding of landscape construction
- Takes pride in producing work to an exceptional standard
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Works well both independently and within a team
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Has good communication and customer service skills
Experience operating tractors, excavators, loaders, trailers or other plant and machinery is highly desirable and will be reflected in your salary.
Relevant horticultural qualifications and machinery tickets are advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
