Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, supporting pharmacists, and ensuring excellent patient care. Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
Provide guidance to patients on medication usage and storage
Maintain precise records of dispensed prescriptions and inventory levels
Support medication administration processes as required
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and confidentiality standards
Organise stock levels, check expiry dates, and manage stock replenishment
Support patient care initiatives by providing exceptional customer service and advice

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality is essential
