THIS VACANCY IS FOR BUSY BEES NURSERY SCHOOL IN BECK ROW, NEAR MILDENHALL (IP28 8AA) NOT IN BURY ST EDMUNDS

Position: Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse

Hours: . 7.30 am - 5.30pm - 4 days per week

About us: We are a family run business (We are not part of the Busy Bees chain).

We have wonderful facilities for the children, some of which include:

- 5 classrooms

- Extensive outdoor play areas

- An out of school club for primary school aged children

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our friendly, professional and busy team.

You will receive

Requirements

- Must have a relevant Level 3 or above specific Early Years/Childcare qualification which is listed on the DFE relevant qualifications list, and have at least one years experience of working within a nursery setting.

- Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED requirements

- Must be I.T. literate

- Must work well as part of a team

- Must be fully committed to working with children and how they learn and develop

- Must have bundles of enthusiasm, and a good sense of fun!

- Must have a love of the great outdoors

Duties

- To be responsible for a key group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met, and update the children's learning journals via Tapestry

- To be supportive of the Room Leader and other staff working within the room, and to put forward ideas and suggestions within the classroom and setting

- To contribute to providing a fun, safe and secure environment

The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
