Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foot Health Practitioner to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating routine foot conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients and provide education on foot health. The ideal candidate will also possess strong IT skills for maintaining patient records and utilising medical software.

Responsibilities

Ability to see patients for a range of conditions. Treatments to include corns, callous, nail cutting, nail infections, verruca etc.
Be able to conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower limbs to diagnose conditions and refer to Podiatrists & Chiropodists.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Assist Podiatrists during nail surgery procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on foot care, prevention of foot-related issues, and overall health maintenance.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatry through continuous professional development.

Experience

A level 3 or level 4 diploma in Foot Health Practice, along with relevant clinical experience covering all aspects of Foot Health.
Strong communication skills in English are required for effective patient interaction.
Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient information is necessary.

About Podiatry Station

We are a modern and busy clinic based in Edgware, North West London. Established in 2011, we have grown from a single chair clinic to a three chair clinic. We operate from clean and modern premises, which we had fully refurbished and re-fitted at the end of 2024. We are situated on a busy main road, within minutes of Burnt Oak Tube Station and multiple bus routes for easy access.

At Podiatry Station, we are passionate about delivering up-to-date treatments using the latest technology and techniques to give our patients the best results. We are proud of our friendly, caring and welcoming approach, helping every patient feel at ease from their first experience with us.

Equally, we put importance into a comfortable working environment, which is always happy and helpful. You will be working alongside our practice manager, principal Podiatrist, and full-time receptionist.
