Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Rep to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage with customers effectively, along with the ability to manage auxiliary projects. This role involves processing orders, assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and working on several longer term company projects. A passion for providing exceptional customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional manner.
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and promotions.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
Perform data entry tasks to update customer records and maintain accurate information in the system.
Process orders for various sites across the UK.
Collaborate with team members to improve delivery service.
Managing various projects regarding the continual improvement of our systems and processes.
Work to improve our company's health and safety policies.
Assist the Managing Director and Purchasing Manager with a variety of administrative tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
Fluency in English
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and effectively.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365.
Proven analysis skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Familiarity with data entry processes and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an advantage.
Previous experience in the janitorial industry is a bonus, but not essential.

Additional Details:

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: £29500-£31000 per annum
