Multi-Skilled Handyperson

Part-Time or Full-Time

North & South Lanarkshire

We are seeking a skilled and reliable multi-skilled handyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse range of practical skills and a hands-on approach to carry out maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments across our properties. This role suits someone proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours can be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate, with pay dependent on experience and skills.

Main Duties:

General property maintenance and repairs in residential settings

Garden maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding)

Removal of fixtures & fittings / interior strip-outs

Painting & decorating to a high standard

Basic joinery works (e.g., fitting flooring, skirting boards, door adjustments; fencing skills an advantage)

Basic electrical works (e.g., changing light fittings, sockets, basic fault finding)

Basic plumbing works (e.g., tap changes, unblocking sinks, fixing leaks)

Assisting with refurbishments and property upgrades

Carrying out safety checks and reporting larger repair needs

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Communicating clearly and courteously with tenants and clients

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in property maintenance, construction, or similar trade preferred

Good range of skills across multiple trades

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently and manage own workload

Full UK driving licence preferred (but not always essential)
