Clinical Administrator

AfC Band 4 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,750.47 per annum (pro rata)

Hours 28.8 hours a week

Post Details - We are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual to join our Clinical Administration Team, where you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Nursing Directorate. This is a varied and rewarding position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting departmental projects and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities - In this role, you will deliver a full secretarial and administrative service to the Nursing Directorate, supporting a range of departmental projects and initiatives, including those related to absence management and performance targets. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining files and computerised records across systems such as SSTS, RiO, and Optima eRostering. The post also involves organising and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and producing reports as required. Additionally, you will provide secretarial support to senior staff, including the Business Development Manager and other key roles within the directorate. As part of the team, you will also be expected to offer reception cover during breaks and periods of absence, ensuring a seamless service at all times.

Experience - The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within a fast-paced environment. They will demonstrate exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work to tight deadlines.
