The Construction and Built Environment School at Preston College is recruiting for a Lecturer in Multi-Skills to support and develop adult learners across a range of construction trades. Due to growth and to meet the skills needs of Lancashire, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing curriculum team delivering responsive and flexible provision.
You will deliver practical and theoretical sessions that support adults to gain skills for employment, career change or progression within the construction sector. Our provision includes entry level through to Level 2/3, with a strong focus on employability, confidence building and progression into work or further study.
We are seeking an individual with passion, drive and enthusiasm to support adult learners from a range of backgrounds. You will be able to adapt your teaching to meet individual needs and create an inclusive learning environment that supports all students to succeed and progress.
The ideal candidate will have strong occupational competence across a range of construction trades and be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant area. A teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you do not currently hold one, we will support you to achieve this through funded training and development.

Job Title: Lecturer Multi-Skills
Salary: From SCP 24 (£32,494) to SCP34 (£43,674) per annum (pro rata for part time) salary based on qualifications and experience. There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.
Hours: 1.0FTE, 37 hours per week,
