Job description
Class 2 HGV Driver Permanent.
Regular days on local collection and deliveries for Pallex.
Deliveries will consist of pallet drops to businesses and private addresses (curbside only with electric pump truck) within Liverpool, Wigan and Bolton postcodes.
Dedicated truck per driver keep your equipment in the cab.
Weekly paid - £14.00 per hour (guaranteed minimum 45 hours) + £4 per daily meal allowance + £52.00 per week attendance bonus + overtime.
Normal days of work Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Hours of work 7.30am-5.30pm (some flexibility required)
28 days paid holiday including bank holidays
(Saturday & Sunday working will be paid at an enhanced rate work-related bonus )

Our business was incorporated in 1960..based in Salford near Manchester, moving to purpose-built secure premises in ATHERTON, M46 Post Code in 1995.
What vehicles do you operate..
Our current fleet strength is made up of 34 plus vehicles varying from small curtain-sided vehicles up to 44 Tonne gross “ Artics”.
Do you run any special vehicles..?
We operate a number of Large hiab * crane “ vehicles with lifting capacities up to 8 tonnes. We have a step frame trailer plus A low loader/drive on Plant trailer.
What areas of the UK do you cover ..
We cover the whole of the UK with our own fleet and in association with 90 other Transport Companies under the shared user facility of PALLEX a nationwide distribution network.
