We are seeking experienced Roofers & Labourers to join our team on a Self -employed basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute to high-quality projects, ensuring safety and durability in all roofing applications. Applicants should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal Labourers will have previous experience working in Roofing or similar construction roles.
Pay rates will reflect experience. Roofers £150-£200 per day. Labourers £80-£120 per day.
Work based within the North West area. Work can vary between new build site work and domestic properties.
Duties
- Install, and maintain various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations throughout all phases of work
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within specified timelines
- All aspects of roofing to be completed
- Labourers - Supporting roofers and suppliers on site, assisting with installation and general labouring tasks
Qualifications
- CSCS card - required for all candidates
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools.
- Knowledge of construction principles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on roofs or scaffolding
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to roofing activities
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Candidates must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship. Applicants trained in relevant Health & Safety courses would be highly advantageous.
Pay: £80.00-£200.00 per day depending on experience
