Description

As an Accounts Senior/Semi-Senior, you will support the accounts team in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and supportive environment, allowing you to develop your skills and progress in the field of accountancy.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.

Review and support trainees, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.

Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client-first attitude.

Organise your workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.

Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.

Key Requirements

AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification).

Those ‘qualified by experience’ will also be considered.

Proven practice experience - Audit experience is desirable but not essential.

Additional Requirements

Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent time management.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Hybrid working considered

Experience with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) is an advantage.
