Job Summary:
As the first person visitors, customers, and suppliers meet, you'll help shape their experience of Thrive while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business. This role offers more than traditional administration, providing opportunities to work with different teams, take on new responsibilities, and develop your career as the business continues to grow.

Professional and personable, confident being the first point of contact and creating a welcoming, positive first impression of Thrive. Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle tasks, take ownership, and keep the office running smoothly without things slipping through the cracks.
Proactive, reliable, and adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed. A natural team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build great working relationships across the business.
Eager to learn and develop, with an interest in getting involved beyond the front desk and the opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and grow within a fast-paced, innovative business.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact for Thrive
- Managing incoming calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
- Maintaining shared office spaces to a high standard (tidy, organised, and presentable)
- Liaising with cleaning providers and supporting general office upkeep
- Ensuring office, kitchen, and cleaning consumables are well stocked
- Monitoring shared inboxes, triaging and redirecting queries as required
- Supporting the planning and coordination of company events and meetings
- Taking ownership of the front-of-house function and proactively improving the workplace environment
- Providing general administrative support across the business as required
Additional Support (Secondary Responsibilities):
- Assisting teams with light administrative tasks
- Supporting data entry, tracking, and basic reporting (e.g. spreadsheets, CRM updates)
- Helping coordinate internal processes, documents, and team requests
- Providing ad-hoc support to wider business functions where needed
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Communication & interpersonal skills: professional, approachable, confident
- Organisation & attention to detail: manages tasks efficiently, maintains high standards
- Proactive & self-motivated approach: takes ownership, identifies improvements
- Administrative & IT skills: confident using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel)
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Previous front-of-house or reception experience: confident in a customer-facing role
- CRM and shared inbox experience: able to manage and prioritise enquiries
- Basic data handling skills: comfortable with spreadsheets and simple reporting
