Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powder Coater to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to a variety of components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our stringent quality standards. Experience in wet painting is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
Apply powder coatings to components using electrostatic powder coating equipment.
Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including ovens and spray booths.
Prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, and masking
Ensure components are coated to the correct thickness and finish, adhering to industry and customer specifications.
Perform quality checks on coated components, using equipment such as Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurement tools.
If trained to do so, handle and apply a variety of wet paint systems including multi-coat systems.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
