Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing participants of various ages and skill levels in gymnastics, fostering a safe and encouraging environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire confidence, develop athletic skills, and promote healthy living through specialised coaching programmes.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to individual needs and abilities
Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastics routines and exercises
Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in excellent condition
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Organise competitions, exhibitions, or showcases to motivate participants and showcase their progress
Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements of all participants

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and coaching methodologies
Minimum Level 1 coaching qualification or equivalent and eagerness to complete courses and gain further qualifications
Minimum age 18 years
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages
Organised with the ability to plan structured training sessions effectively
Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
