Full job description

Gardener / Grounds Maintenance – Full Time (West Sussex)

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working gardener to join our small, hands-on team. This is a proper outdoor role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job well, and wants to be part of a team where everyone gets stuck in and represents the business professionally.

You’ll be working on a mix of regular maintenance and larger garden, hedge and landscaping jobs. There’s no hierarchy here – we all work together – but we’re after someone confident enough to lead by example and support others when needed.

The role includes:

General garden maintenance (mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning, hedge cutting)
Helping with larger clearance, hedge reduction and landscaping jobs
Using tools and machinery safely and properly
Working as part of a small team and dealing with customers on site

What we’re looking for:

Some experience in gardening / grounds maintenance (ideally 2+ years)
A good work ethic and pride in high standards
Confident using garden tools and machinery
Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weathers
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Reliable, punctual and easy to work with
