About Us

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Senior Early Years Educator in Boundstone Nursery School. To assist the Head of School in the provision of high-quality childcare. To plan and provide an inclusive, caring and stimulating environment with exciting play opportunities that meet all children’s developmental needs and stimulates their learning.

Boundstone Nursery School has a successful track record of supporting and developing staff to make sure they gain the skills and experience necessary to enable our young children to achieve great things. We offer you the opportunity to bring your enthusiasm and skills to Boundstone, to ensure our children achieve their very best.

Job Details

West Sussex Grade 6: £27,254 pro rata (pay award pending), if qualified to Level 3 in a related childcare qualification

37 hours per week: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 4:30pm

Location: Boundstone Nursery School, Lancing West Sussex

Interviews: 26th June 2026

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role you will need:

- An understanding of the Special Educational Needs (SEND) Code of Practice and the provision of an inclusive environment
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the key principles of child development and the Early Years Foundations Stage (EYFS)
- Relevant organisational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of key carer systems and effective record keeping
- Good understanding of Ofsted regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and the Children’s Act 1989
