Full job description

Experienced Groundworker Required

Cambridge Country Club is looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our construction and development team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and versatile groundworker to work on a variety of construction and development projects across our extensive site.

The Role

The successful candidate will have strong practical experience across a wide range of groundwork and construction activities, including:

House building and construction projects
Drainage installation and connections
Foundations, footings and concrete works
Ground preparation and excavation
Kerbing, paving and other external works
Landscaping and general grounds works
Installation and maintenance of drainage systems
Operating plant, machinery and relevant tools
General construction and groundworks duties as required
Working as part of a professional construction and grounds team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and highly practical, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You should have:

Proven experience as a Groundworker
Strong experience in house builds and construction
Good knowledge and experience of drainage installation and works
Experience across a broad range of groundwork activities
Ability to read and work from plans and specifications where required
A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
Ability to operate relevant machinery and plant
Relevant qualifications, plant tickets or CSCS certification would be advantageous
A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks

Position Details

Full-time, permanent position
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Based at Cambridge Country Club
