REPORTS TO - Head of Connects
TEAM - Premier Connects — Delegate Management (team of 5)
THE COMPANY
Who you’d be joining.
Premier Events is a fast growing, fully integrated, full-service event agency established in 2009. We are a fun and dedicated team of 55 people, providing high-quality events world-wide, Premier Connects, the Delegate arm of Premier Events, handles delegate management, registration and virtual platform delivery for household-name clients. We’re the operational backbone that makes sure every delegate is in the right place, with the right information, at the right time.
As our client portfolio grows, we’re looking for someone detail-oriented and enthusiastic to join the Connects team — someone who takes pride in making complex logistics look effortless.
THE ROLE
What you’d actually do.
Reporting to the Head of Connects, you’ll be a core part of the delegate management team — hands-on in the detail and trusted to run your own projects from brief to delivery. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the operational side of events, where the work is varied, the pace is quick, and getting things right really matters.
- Manage the end-to-end delegate journey across live, hybrid, and virtual events — from registration set-up through to post-event reporting.
- Support with the build and configuration of delegate websites, registration forms, and attendee communications using Swoogo, our delegate technology platform.
- Operate and troubleshoot on-site registration technology, including kiosks, badge printing, and check-in systems.
- Support the set-up and delivery of virtual event platforms, including content uploads, attendee journeys, and session management.
- Manage delegate data accurately — maintaining GDPR compliance, handling imports and segmentation, and producing post-event reports and insights.
- Juggle multiple concurrent event projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of delivery across each.
- Liaise with internal event teams, clients, and platform providers to ensure seamless delegate experiences at every touchpoint.
- Attend live events on-site (including occasional overnight stays) to oversee registration operations and technical set-up.
- Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of new tools and technologies within the Connects team.
THE CANDIDATE
Who we’re looking for.
You’ve worked in events, delegate management, or a similar fast-paced operational role — and you know your way around a registration platform. Whether that’s Swoogo, Cvent, or something similar, you’re comfortable building delegate journeys, troubleshooting on-site tech, and keeping multiple projects moving at once. You’re the kind of person who reads the briefing document properly, spots the thing everyone else missed, and quietly makes sure it gets fixed.
Essential: Experience using a delegate management or event registration platform. Strong IT skills are essential — particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication, a sharp eye for detail, and a confident, outgoing personality are just as important as the technical side.
"You stay calm when the delegate list changes the morning of an event, and you bring the same energy to event number ten as you did to event number one."
In return, you’ll have real variety, genuine autonomy, and a team around you that takes the work seriously — without taking itself too seriously.
