Job Description:
As a Dental Treatment Coordinator with our Dental Practice, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Patient Care and Communication:
· Welcome and greet patients, ensuring their comfort and answering any initial inquiries.
· Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment journey.
· Effectively communicate treatment options, procedures, and associated costs to patients.
· Address patient concerns and questions, providing reassurance and support throughout their dental treatment.
· Schedule and coordinate appointments, optimizing the dental practice's efficiency.
Treatment Coordination:
· Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
· Present treatment plans to patients, explaining the procedures, expected outcomes, and financial obligations.
· Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and claims processing.
· Coordinate referrals to specialists, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care.
· Follow up with patients to ensure treatment compliance and schedule necessary appointments.
Administrative Support:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and financial information.
· Manage patient billing, process payments, and discuss financial arrangements as needed.
· Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
· Collaborate with the dental team to optimize office workflow and patient scheduling.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
· Previous experience as a dental treatment coordinator or in a dental nursing role is preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in R4 is preferred
· Knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology.
· Familiarity with insurance processes and claims management.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Compassionate and patient-centred approach to patient care.
