Company Description

Resolv Engineering Ltd provides specialist consultancy services in pipeline and pipework stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and structural integrity assessments for the energy and utility sectors. We work with major clients across the UK, delivering high-quality engineering solutions to industry standards such as ASME B31, PD 8010, and IGEM/TD/12.

Role Description

We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Pipe Stress Engineer. The role offers hands-on experience in stress analysis, pipeline design, and engineering assessments, with the opportunity to develop expertise in CAESAR II, FEA tools, and industry codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and analysing pipe stress models using CAESAR II and other engineering software.
Support senior engineers with technical assessments, reports, and design reviews.
Conduct research and development relevant to the industry.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams on engineering projects.
Prepare engineering documentation, calculations, and technical drawings.

Essential Requirements:

BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of structural mechanics, fracture mechanics, and finite element analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD, CAESAR II, ANSYS or ABAQUS is advantageous but not essential.
