Summary
We are seeking a skilled SMT Technician to join our team in Bridgwater. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our surface mount technology processes, contributing directly to our company's mission of delivering top-tier electronic manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate surface mount assembly equipment with precision.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble electronic components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SMT processes.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Document production activities accurately.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and inventory.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with surface mount technology and assembly.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers.
- Electrical or mechanical background preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of safety procedures in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
