About Sunseeker International
Sunseeker was founded on a bold vision: to create a new kind of yacht and redefine what was possible on the water. From our earliest designs in 1967, we’ve pushed boundaries and reshaped the motor yacht industry through innovation, craftsmanship and relentless ambition.
At the heart of every Sunseeker lies a legacy of expert hands and meticulous attention to detail, skills refined and passed down through generations. These are the qualities that set our yachts apart - and the qualities that continue to drive our craft today.
In a world increasingly defined by automation, we remain committed to building handcrafted, handfinished boats. With over 1,800 talented team members across our busy shipyards - from longserving specialists to more than 180 apprentices - our Sunseeker workforce reflects the strength, diversity and pride of our local community. It’s this blend of heritage, skill and passion that makes our shipyards unlike any other place in the world.
Who We Are Seeking
We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly creative Principal Interior Designer to lead the design vision of our luxury yacht interiors at Sunseeker International. This is a senior-level role for an experienced designer who thrives on innovation, takes ownership of creative direction, and confidently drives projects from concept through to production.
You will be a natural leader, capable of managing multiple design streams while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. With a passion for evolving design trends, materials, and technology, you will continuously challenge and refine existing concepts to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the market.
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will balance strategic design leadership with hands-on technical delivery. You will create and review detailed interior layouts, using advanced CAD tools and visualisation techniques to bring concepts to life, while ensuring alignment with engineering, production, and cost requirements.
Your day will involve liaising across teams including Programme Management, Production, Sales, and Marketing, presenting design concepts, and making key decisions to move projects forward. Alongside managing project timelines, you will mentor junior designers, oversee FF&E and CGI outputs, and ensure all design data meets quality and governance standards before release.

Review, validate, and approve design information prior to final sign-off in Teamcenter
-
Drive cost reduction initiatives by monitoring parts and assemblies
-
Mentor and support the development of junior team members
