About The Role

Join Our Caring Community at Elizabeth House!

Role: Senior Care & Support Assistant

Location: Elizabeth House, Dolbery Road, Parkstone, Poole BH12 4PX

Pay rate: £13.80 per hour

Hours: Full-time and part-time hour available, to include alternate weekend working

Shift Patterns Available: 07:45 – 20:00

Are you a dedicated individual who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, and lead by example to support and motivate our care teams?

You should hold a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards a fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care upon successful completion of your probation. You should also hold a Safe Handling of Medicines Certificate or be willing to obtain this through our fully funded training.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a care setting, including care planning and medication administration.
Strong communication skills and leadership potential.
A genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Care Assistants
Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
Promote independence and dignity in all aspects of care.
Act as a point of escalation for concerns or incidents.
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
