Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic and passionate EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative lessons to children with a range of educational needs and abilities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences that support children's academic, social, and emotional development. Please note that, due to the nature of Alternative Provision, pupil numbers and needs can change. As a result, teaching responsibilities and age groups may vary according to demand. Lessons are typically delivered in small groups, involving learners of varying ages and abilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS/KS1 and early learning lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
- Deliver effective phonics teaching to support literacy development.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external professionals.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness within the classroom environment.
- Contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
Desirable Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of SEN childcare principles and nursery practices.
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly within early years environments.
- In-depth understanding of early childhood education frameworks, including EYFS and National Curriculum standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Organised with the ability to plan effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of PACE and Trauma Informed preferred.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
