Full job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Human Resources Adviser to join our Human Resources Team within People and Culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, customer-focused support across the employee lifecycle.

In this varied role, you will play a key part in supporting recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations, while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with employment legislation. You will also contribute to improving HR systems and processes, helping to drive efficiency and enhance the overall employee experience.

The ideal candidate will possess an appropriate qualification in HR or have strong administrative experience within an HR or similar environment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will be a confident communicator who can build effective relationships across the organisation and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities and Criteria for the role:

Provides administrative and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle
Supports recruitment processes, including advertising, interviews, and pre-employment checks
Coordinates onboarding and induction for new staff
Maintains accurate, confidential HR records and systems
Responds to staff HR queries and supports employee relations administration
Contributes to HR policy implementation and process improvement
Supports development and use of digital HR systems and reporting
Ensures compliance with data protection, HR policies, and legislation

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

An appropriate qualification in Human Resources (minimum CIPD Level 3) or equivalent professional experience
Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
Experience in HR administration and recruitment support
Good digital/IT skills and ability to manage confidential information
