Lead the Day Shift with Evri – Join Our Transport Team in Airdrie!
Are you a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Ready to take charge, drive performance, and keep operations running smoothly? Join Evri as a Depot Transport Supervisor and play a vital role in delivering a seamless transport operation every day.
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
What you’ll be doing
As the day shift Transport Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our depot operation, keeping everything moving efficiently from the moment the day begins. You’ll support the Transport and Shift Managers while leading drivers, coordinating routes, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and service. From managing rotas and resources to resolving challenges in real time, you’ll be key to delivering a high-performing, customer-focused transport operation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Brief and debrief drivers, ensuring clarity on routes, expectations, and risk assessments
- Manage driver rotas and holiday requests to maximise operational efficiency
- Ensure vehicle compliance, maintenance checks, and defect reporting are completed
- Monitor and control transport costs including fuel, maintenance, and resources
- Act as the main point of contact for driver queries and on-shift operational issues

- Experience in a transport or traffic office environment, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and motivate drivers
- Knowledge of transport systems such as telematics and tachograph analysis
- Proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, operational setting
- Good IT, Maths, and English skills, with CPC or IOSH (or willingness to work towards)
