Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/Waiting team member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and ensure a memorable experience for every visitor. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for excellent service and delightful treats.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following company standards.
Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or desserts as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including the coffee station, dining area, and food prep zones, adhering to food safety regulations.
Manage cash register transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
Monitor stock levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is required.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Skills

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is required.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and a friendly demeanour.
Ability to assist with food preparation tasks confidently and efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment.

This vacancy is to work on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the possibility of extra shifts to cover sickness/holidays. If you are unable to work these days, please do not apply.
