We are looking for an experienced Welder and Chaser to join our creative and friendly team.
This is a position which would suit a person who has time served working in fine art bronze foundries or artist/design studios and be responsible for manufacturing high quality functional interior and exterior products in metals such as bronze.
As an experienced bronze technician you will be expected to chase and fabricate company products and limited edition prestigious pieces to the required company standards in specification, in full and on time. We are looking for a positive, creative and energetic person able to provide brilliant quality work and have a passion for sculpture and design.
We favour people who are hardworking, diligent, take responsibility for their actions and who are able to follow instructions. You need to be perceptive, organised, reliable and able to problem solve complicated designs.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Assembly of cast bronze components to create bronze sculptures
- TIG Welding
- Silver Soldering
- Metalworking tools for chasing
- Polishing
Required Skills, Attributes and Experience:-
- Experience within the arts or interior product manufacturing is essential
- Must have experience as a bronze chaser or metal worker
- Proven experience of making high end sculptural products
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level communication skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Be passionate about metalwork.
