Destination Weddings Consultant
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Award Winning Ionian Weddings, the UK’s leading Mediterranean wedding specialists. This is an office based job with one day a week at home (two days at home after a qualification period).
Key responsibilities
– Oversee end-to-end operational delivery of all weddings across the Mediterranean portfolio
– Constantly review and improve efficiencies to facilitate long-term success.
– Implement and manage a variety of new systems and processes, from procurement and client support to training and communications.
– Conduct post-wedding reviews and implement learnings into future planning
– Respond quickly to operational situations to ensure the best outcome for clients
– Oversee product pricing activities
– Take charge when the Directors are absent
Supplier & Venue Management
– Develop positive relationships with our network of vetted Mediterranean suppliers: local co-ordinators, venues, caterers, florists, photographers, musicians, transport providers, and more
Supplier & Venue Management
– Drive sales strategy evolution & champion improvements across the sales journey, implementing initiatives to improve conversion, maximise revenue and enhance our customers’ experience
Client Experience
– Champion a culture of exceptional client care across the team
– Empower the team to deal with complaints swiftly and effectively, acting as a point of escalation when necessary and assisting with drafting responses to formal complaints and negative reviews
Team Leadership
– Line-manage and mentor a team of seven, motivating them to provide the highest levels of customer service
– Work closely with the Directors on business strategy, capacity planning, and growth initiatives
– Deliver the team’s sales and customer service targets & provide regular reports on this
– Deliver regular focus & training sessions to re-engage focus areas
– Support the recruitment and training of new team members
Requirements: Preferred job-related skills, personal skills & knowledge -
. Preferable: Wedding planning experience, ideally with destination weddings
· Essential: exceptional and proven customer service, organisational and communication skills
· Essential: positive “can-do” attitude and passion for weddings
· Good knowledge of Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Croatia and Portugal
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure
· MS office proficient and IT savvy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
