We are seeking to recruit a pharmacy technician to join the centralised purchasing and invoicing team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within the centralised Purchasing and Invoicing team. Our team consists of pharmacy technicians and administrators, all working together to ensure a safe, cost effective, efficient and quality service. The post will be involved in a number of activities including the oversight of centralised purchasing and invoicing activities, off-contract claims, supporting staff to follow up and resolve any medicine supply problems.

About you
We’re looking for someone who:

Is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
-
Has a National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent

Has a Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3 in Pharmacy Services

Completed HN Unit: Procedures for Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technicians or Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Award (provided by Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before)

Has an HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management. However, individuals who do not possess this qualification but can demonstrate equivalent professional experience may also be considered. In such instances, a Mapping Assessment Form must be completed and submitted as part of the application process.
