Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Manager to join our team. This is a key position within the practice, offering the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, manage a small team, and work closely with the directors to support the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing a portfolio of clients across various industries
Ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard
Preparing and reviewing of year end accounts for sole trades, partnerships, and Ltd companies
Preparing and reviewing tax computations and tax returns
Managing members of the team and working closely with directors to provide support as required
Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and communications
Building strong, long-term client relationships and delivering excellent service

Qualifications

Experience of working in an accountancy practice
ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
